A World Without DJs 2 - Chapter 2

The ruins of the old Mau5 building were still there. It looked like nothing had changed; it was like Sonny had gone back in time to the day when everything got alright. Mau5ville was empty around that part of the city. It was like everyone just wanted to forget what happened. But there was just one thing bothering everyone.

That building held the answers to all of the questions everyone was asking. And now everything was in pieces and it was impossible to answer anyone. People still were wondering where was Tiësto and  the other Djs. Sonny knew that most of them got killed but somehow no one wanted to believe that the lord of Trance, Dj Tiësto, was actually gone. Everyone kept asking Sonny and others whenever they got the chance. Especially Joel was being attacked with questions because of it but he couldn't tell anything because he just didn't remember.

Guy knew the reason why everything happened but he hadn't got time to check all the newspaper clippings when they still were in the building.  He had talked about it to everyone else and Joel did admit that he was a bit jealous but Evilmau5.… That personality was now destroyed for everyone's sake.

Sonny sighed and let the cool wind hit his face gently as he looked around. He remembered where the remains of Evilmau5's head were supposed to be so he walked around the ruins and climbed a little to lean down to look.

There was this gap between two giant rocks - it was like the grave of that mau5head that had caused so much pain and horror to everyone.

Sonny leaned closer. How odd, it was pretty dark in there.
A bit closer.

It wasn't there.

His heart skipped a beat and he tried not to panic so much as he reached his arm to the gap and searched.

It was gone. That mau5head was gone.

"Well, well. I didn't think I'd see someone trying to get something like that back from there…" a low voice said and Sonny froze, trying to crouch a bit to hide - but he was already been seen so it was no use to hide.

Was it someone he knew? He thought for a while. It might just be Bob or Tommy… just teasing him. But the voice wasn't theirs. He knew the person close to him was a man - and it was someone he didn't know.

Sonny heard a low chuckle coming from behind him.

"If you want to see that head so much, why don't you just come with me then?"

Sonny turned around to see who it was but all he could catch was just a quick flash of view - a giant pair of round ears - and then everything went black.

The Beetroots had finally gotten back from their 'little' walk which had actually taken about 4 hours. Danger wasn't surprised but he didn't complain. He had his own business and problems too. It had been revealed that Danger was the one helping Evilmau5 design those brainwashing mau5heads so everyone was pretty much doing nothing else but asking about it. Danger had swore that he wouldn't tell anyone.
Still he was being bothered with mail and he was getting quite frustrated.

"You got mail, Dangie~", Bob laughed as he put a brown envelope on the table. "Only one letter this time….? How odd.", Danger said and picked up the envelope. "It has my name on it so I guess it's for me then", he continued and opened the envelope, taking the actual letter out and focusing on reading it as Tommy walked in and just sat on the table, making Danger glare at him a bit.

The letter fell on the floor just seconds later and Tommy turned to look at Danger. "Hey, what's wrong with…." he stopped in mid-sentence.

Danger fell on his knees and stared at the letter and all that text, feeling both sick and scared at the same time. Bob and Tommy came a bit closer and as Bob crouched and picked up the letter Danger shook his head and tried to calm himself down.

Bob looked at the letter and started to look more worried as he read further. After he was done Tommy snapped the letter from him and soon he sat on the chair behind him, looking worried.

"What the hell…? Danger, how…? Who?" he asked and Danger just shook his head. "I don't know. I never gave those instructions for the mau5heads away. "

The letter had had complete instructions with all the details of how to make a mau5head for brainwashing purposes - and it was so detailed that it could either been Danger himself or ….

Danger looked at the Beetroots. "Where are Thomas and Guy? And go get Joel and Sonny."

Tommy left and Bob asked why, making Danger get up and sit down at the table.

"….. It looks like he is back."
